Volker Schilling is the founder and a Member of the Board of Directors at Greiff capital management AG. Before founding Greiff he was Chairman at Performance AG in Mannheim, which he founded in 1994 and directed until his departure in 2004. Between 1992 and 1994 he worked for Deutsche Bank AG in Munich. Since 1998 he has been a sought-after expert and regular guest and for television broadcasters (n-tv, Bloomberg, ARD Börse), radio stations (H1 Info, Deutschlandfunk, Börsenradio) and print media (Capital, Börse online, Financial Times, Die Welt).
Udo Wedler is a Member of the Board of Directors at Greiff capital management AG. As CSO he is responsible for sales and marketing. Graduated in Banking Services and Operations he has more than thirty years of experience in the German financial sector. After positions at HypoVereinsbank, Union Investment and Ceros Vermögensverwaltung, he set up the fund trading platform “Metzler Fund Xchange” for the private bank Metzler. Since 2010, he has been the owner of F.U.X. Asset Manager Manufaktur.
Robert Habatsch is a Member of the Board of Directors at Greiff capital management AG. As COO he is responsible for our internal procedures and the strategic orientation of our fund of funds management. After his first positions in the banking sector, Robert Habatsch joined Greiff capital management AG in 2006 and took on various areas of responsibility over the years, including the analysis and integration of alternative UCITS strategies in the fund of funds range.
Edgar Mitternacht is the founder and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Greiff capital management AG. Previously he was the executive partner of the private wealth management firm Dr. Wiek, Mitternacht & Co. GmbH, headquartered in Ettlingen near Karlsruhe. Prior to that, he worked for a mutual savings bank, where he set up the Securities Department, before advising high net worth individuals at Hypo Capital Management AG. Along with writing many articles for diverse publications, he is the co-author of the book “Mehr Gewinn durch strategische Vermögensplanung” (More profit through strategic asset planning) and is also a source of ideas for the Greiff Research Institut GmbH publication “Der Fonds Analyst”.
Frank Termathe is Senior Portfolio Manager and CIO within the Greiff capital management AG. As CIO he is responsible for our strategic orientation in asset management. He began his career in 1982 at Volksbank, Bocholt. In 1992, he managed his first fund within the asset management subsidiary of BfG Bank. As Head of Asset Management at Westfalenbank AG, Bochum and as Head of Wealth Management with BHF Bank AG in Frankfurt, he was responsible for capital market strategy and fund selection. During his time at BHF Bank AG he also managed the "Navigator" fund of funds of the subsidiary “Frankfurt Trust”, which received numerous fund awards during this time. While he was the CIO of BHF Bank AG, he and his team were responsible for 8 bn. Swiss Francs. Finally, he sginificantly contributed to the launch and development of Rhein Asset Management AG S.A., until he joined Greiff capital management AG.
Donikë Walker is responsible for the secretariat and additionally takes over back office activities at Greiff capital management AG. Prior to this, she studied business administration with a focus on financial services at DHBW Lörrach and successfully completed her studies with a Bachelor's degree. Currently, Ms. Walker is on well-deserved maternity leave.
Sven Meyer has been Head of Marketing at Greiff capital management AG since autumn of 2016. Prior to that, he gained initial experience in the Product Management Department at Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG. He studied industrial engineering and management in Furtwangen and Edinburgh, and graduated his studies successfully with a double-degree. In addition, he was Founder & CEO of a Fintech start-up, established in 2017, which developed a learning platform for financial training. The company’s goal was to disseminate financial knowledge to the German population.
Alexandre Wolf is responsible for institutional clients in the DACH and LUX Region at Greiff capital management AG. He speaks French, German, and English. Alexandre is also our ESG Officer and therefore your contact person for all sustainability related topics. He completed the „SRI Advisor" course at EBS Executive School in June 2021. He started his career in the financial industry in 2001 at Candriam (formerly Dexia Asset Management) in Paris as an Institutional Sales Manager, bevor being responsible for wholesale and institutional clients for various fund boutiques and distribution platforms. Alexandre holds a master’s degree in Finance from the University of Paris-Nanterre, specialising in Business Engineering in Banking, Finance, and Insurance.
Christa Mitternacht has worked at Greiff capital management AG as Assistant to the General Management for more than 10 years. She is mainly responsible for Accounting and Invoicing.
Tobias Müller is Senior Portfolio Manager at Greiff capital management AG. He is responsible for the ALPORA Global Innovation. Prior to that, he worked at Tungsten Capital as a portfolio manager. Tobias worked for 5 years with BBBank, where he was responsible for the strategic equity book and proprietary trading of equities. Prior to that, he worked in equity sales trading at JP Morgan. Tobias is a qualified German banker (Bank-Akademie Frankfurt) and holds a CEFA from the DVFA (German Association for Financial Analysis and Asset Management).
Michael Bohn is editorial director of the Greiff Research Institut GmbH, responsible for the Research Department and has over 20 years of investment experience, notably in the evaluation of investment funds. Some of the results and findings are available in our proprietary publications. He represents the editorial team of the fortnightly publication "Der Fonds Analyst" and in addition. Before joining Greiff AG, he worked as an investment advisor for privat and professional clients for an independent asset management company in Freiburg. There he was responsible for the strategic investment decisions within the wealth management mandate and was mainly responsible for product selection.
Markus Merkel has been responsible for risk management and middle office management at Greiff capital management AG since mid-2017. Before joining Greiff capital management AG he worked in fixed income, derivatives and equity trading. Finally, for six years he headed up the Treasury department of one of the biggest German credit unions, where he was responsible for assets of more than three billion euros. He has over 15 years of capital market experience and holds a degree in Business Management and Mathematics.
Stella Kirpoglou joined Greiff capital management AG in december 2020 as a Marketing & Event Manager. Previously, she successfully completed her dual studies in International Business Management with a focus on marketing. In the course of her studies, she worked at Funkhaus Freiburg GmbH & Co. KG in the areas of marketing, sales and media consulting. During this time, she was able to gain additional experience in the areas of moderation and events thanks to her freelance work.
Markus Kaiser is Managing Director of Greiff Research Institut GmbH and heads the ETF division of Greiff capital management AG. The qualified asset manager has more than 20 years of investment experience and is one of the most successful fund of funds pioneers. He gained special attention during his time as Managing Director of Veritas Investment, when he launched the first ETF fund of funds as an innovation in 2007. Most recently, the multiple-award-winning fund manager was a board member of StarCapital AG from 2013 to 2020. He started his professional career in 1997 as a portfolio manager at OCM Vermögensverwaltung in Freiburg.
Matthias Neymeyer is Wholesale Relationship Manager at Greiff capital management AG and is responsible for the Southern German region. After completing his training as a financial assistant at Volksbank Freiburg eG, the graduate bank business economist (ADG) initially worked as a service customer consultant and, after moving to Volksbank Breisgau Süd eG, as a private customer consultant. Most recently, Matthias Neymeyer worked successfully for more than four years as an asset manager in private banking at Volksbank Breisgau Süd eG.
Rosa Mick is responsible for the office management at Greiff capital management AG. In this field, she has more than 10 years of experience.
Fabian Hoch works in the portfolio management and trading departments. In October 2018, he began a dual study programme at Greiff capital management AG and the DHBW Lörrach to obtain a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a focus on financial services. Since successfully completing his studies in September 2021, he is applying the knowledge he gained in portfolio management and trading at Greiff AG.
Andreas Krauss is Portfolio Manager in the ETF division of Greiff capital management AG. Previously, the trained banker worked for several years as a portfolio manager for StarCapital AG. Here he was involved in the establishment and further development of the business area of rule-based ETF strategies. In his previous positions, he worked as a risk manager at Veritas Investment GmbH and as a mutual fund manager at Helaba Invest Kapitalanlagegesellschaft. In his professional career of more than 20 years, he also gained valuable experience as team leader custodian bank service at Société Générale S.A..
Werner Lang supports the Research and Analysis Team of the Greiff Research Institut GmbH. Since the foundation he is connected very closely to the Greiff AG. In July 2017 he joined our team. With over 25 years of experience at several banks and financial advisors, the qualified german banker and financial planner (HfB) brings valuable skills to our company.
Marc Schnieder is Senior Portfolio Manager at Greiff capital management AG. He has more than 19 years of professional experience in the financial sector, including 12 years in portfolio management for private and institutional investors. Marc Schnieder specializes in quantitative and rule-based investment approaches. He holds an E-MBA from the Hochschule Liechtenstein and a diploma in computer science from the University of Ulm.
